How do we ship your order?

How the kolibrie moves from flower to flower, we move your order from our orchid nursery to your home. We do this carefully and with our green heart. We pack every order in specially developed and plant-friendly packaging. This means that the plants and home accessories will arrive safely at your home.

Choose, order and wait…

After viewing the range orchids, green plants and home accessories you have made a choice. How nice that your order has been placed. Kolibri Company employees collect the products together after receiving your order. Our products are ready in the orchid nursery and come directly from the grower.

When every product from an order has been packed, we start packing. This is not easy. In order to transport all products safely, they must be firmly and protected in the packaging. The boxes developed by us ensure that we transport products safely. For example, orchids, green plants and home accessories are stable. Depending on an order, we choose the right box. We have several sizes of this. So we have before gift sets its own box, but becomes one orchid in pot again packed in another box.

Packed and ready to ship

Firmly packed, address sticker on it and your order is ready for departure. We ship our orders every working day before 10:00 AM and hand them over to our carrier on the same day.

We deliver our orders in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Italy. The shipping costs are €5,95. We ship orders above €50 for free. As soon as our carrier scans a package, you will receive a Track & Trace code in your mailbox. This allows you to easily track your order.

Ordered a gift? Then there is the option to add a nice personal message during checkout. We handwrite your message on a card and add it to the box.

Unpacking your order

ding dong! The doorbell rings and your order from Kolibri Company is ready to be unpacked. Are you ready to unpack this one? Because the box has been specially developed, unpacking is step-by-step. Be careful and before unpacking, place the box upright on a stable surface.

Now you can take the products out of the box in separate elements. Orchids, green plants and home accessories are packed between a folded cardboard (called interior). You can remove these individually from the packaging. Do this step by step. Have you chosen to buy a plant in a pot? Then we put it in the pot. With pots, make sure you grab the pot itself when you take it out of the box.

Finally you can enjoy your new plants. Did you know that we add a care card with every order? This way you know exactly how much water or light a plant needs. With proper care, your new elegant orchid or green powerhouse will last even longer. You can also always take a look at our care page.
